Badger, a cutting edge, lead generation and mapping application is offering a variety of internships across many areas of the business. All internships are 3-6 months in length and are at their office in San Francisco, California. Successful candidates will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for learning how a technology company runs. Each internship will cover many different skill sets across the business. Applicants should be flexible and eager to learn.
All internships pay $500/month based on a 35 hour work week. (All you can eat peanut butter and coffee included!) Badger works with you to attain course credit should your university support internships for credit. Internships will begin this fall with flexible start dates. Internships are offered in these areas:
PR and Advertising: Designed to train students in the building blocks of PR and advertising. This internship will include: inbound marketing, interacting with members of the media, social media account management, and use of LinkedIn among other tasks.
Product Management: The PM internship is a combination of learning how to deploy a simple feature to the marketing website and creating a complex feature specification for the actual product.
Pre-Law: Three month internship focused on legal operations and business development to include: legal operations, compliance, customer sales contracts, nondisclosure agreements, etc.
Sales and Business Development: A curriculum with three sections that are designed to train the student in the building blocks of Sales and Business Development. Sections include: business development, outbound sales campaigns, and customer success.
Marketing: A six section internship designed to train the student in the building blocks of sales and marketing. Marketing sections include: inbound marketing, social media account management, PR, business development, sales campaigns, and customer support.
Finance and Fundraising: Three month internship project is focused on exploring and executing financing options. Badger has raised both debt and equity rounds in the past, and used instruments like convertible notes, and is now exploring different funding options going forward. This is a perfect project for someone looking to get their hands dirty with Startup Finance.
Legal: 3-month internship focused on legal operations and business development. Training will include: legal operations, corporate governance, compliance, customer sales contracts, nondisclosure agreements, and more.
Customer Success: 3 month internship focuses on Customer Success, which is working with paying customers to ensure that they are successful in using the product.
Human Resources and Recruiting: Badger is currently rapidly expanding operations, and has a variety of HR and recruiting projects that will allow an intern to gain valuable experience. Three month internship is designed to train the student in the building blocks of HR and Recruiting, two jobs that every company has.
