With their marketer you will learn to photo-shop jewelry, design and post social media posts, strategize running of advertising campaigns, use Google analytics, as well as running and updating websites. If you have a creative mind, you may learn how to design and build infographics and use them in marketing campaigns. You'll also help prepare for and organize events and trade shows.

Boston Based Program Coordinator Internship

United Planet is looking for an intern to join their international team and coordinate long-term programs. This position, in the Boston office, involves various responsibilities in the Long-Term Department, which focuses on “Quests” (programs) that are 6 months and 12 months long. This is a great opportunity for those interested in gaining experience in the education abroad or non-profit field. 
Summary/Objective 
Support team of Program Managers and Coordinators in their daily work of coordinating international volunteer programs for outgoing and incoming volunteers. 
Responsibilities 
· Promote United Planet programs via email and phone to potential volunteers and parents 
· Assist with the preparation of the weekend-long Pre-Departure Training for all outgoing volunteers 
· Prepare training materials for volunteers 
· Assist with coordinating and preparing outgoing volunteers for their programs abroad 
· Assist volunteers in the visa application process 
· Assist as needed in other operations and programs, including, but not limited to “incoming” US programs for international volunteers coming to the US 
· Administrative tasks, as needed 
Requirements 
· Demonstrated resourcefulness, confidence, and attention to detail in past experiences 
· Experience with customer service via email and/or phone 
· Previous volunteering or community service experience preferred 
· Previous international travel experience preferred

    -    Initial training in New York boutiques, working directly with the clientele, to learn the products and sales methods.
